Brandon Gercara is a visual artist and activist researcher in the queer community in La Réunion. Graduating from the École Supérieure d’Art de La Réunion in 2019, their work focuses on a critical study of all the dynamics of domination in a post-colonial context. They imagine Requeer, a space of research, socialization, visibilization & archive for LGBTQIA+ people in La Réunion. They develop a multidisciplinary practice, including performance, photography, video art and installation.
