In 2024, Triangle-Astérides initiated an experimental Associated Audiences Programme, then called Les Estuaires, after the French word for estuary—the place where rivers meet, where waters mingle and become oxygenated. Inspired by popular education, the programme provides a space for co-programming within the art centre. It is grounded in long-term engagement with a group of people who do not usually attend contemporary art venues, who are paid for their contribution as associated audiences.

A new group is formed each year according to the key themes and dynamics emerging from the artistic programme, in the hope that shared interests or methodologies might create connections and enable cross-perspectives. The project also enables the art centre to step outside the field of art and learn from other organisations and from the ways in which they engage with the people they work with.
