The Associate Artists program (open since 2023) is aimed at local artists based in and around Marseille.
For 11 months, the program offers the 3 winners of the annual call for applications for the associate artist program:
— a 60-90 m2 studio at Triangle-Astérides;
— curatorial, administrative and logistical support;
— professional visits and networking;
— three open studio evenings during the year (on the same dates as each of the three residency sessions);
— a fee of 150 euros for each of the three studio open-houses;
— the regular proposal of complementary remunerative projects integrated into the art center’s programming (performances, editorial projects, projects intended for specific audiences…), depending on the artist(s)’ practice and expressed needs.
Because this program does not include accommodation, it is only open to artists living in and around Marseille (at a distance that allows regular use of the studio at Triangle-Astérides).
It is the counterpart to the residency program, intended for artists from French (excluding Marseille) and international scenes.
