Samir Laghouati-Rashwan
In response to the COVID crisis, Triangle-Astérides and La Friche joined forces to provide workspaces for artists from the Marseille area in the fall of 2020.
Samir Laghouati-Rashwan was born in 1992 in Arles and lives and works in Marseille.
His work focuses on shifting light elements from dominant cultures or subcultures to question their very logic. His practice spans installation, video, publishing, and sound. Conversations play a significant role in his work, with voices acting like a Pantone, shedding light on different research paths.
He obtained a DNSEP in Art from ESADMM in 2020.
