Serge Le Squer lives and works in Marseille (FR)
Serge Le Squer has developed an extensive body of work comprising photographs, films, artistic objects, textualized images, as well as interventionist manipulations. For several years, he has pursued a practice focused on the economy of signs and on how they are apprehended when, decontextualized, they occupy a foreign space. Thus, in 2011, he examined the use of acronyms in the world of communication (RAW WAW WAR, Galerie der Stadt Kirchheim/Teck) and their transposition into the form of dynamic projections.
In his work, Serge Le Squer addresses facets of both active life—the world of work—and everyday life. It is particularly his photographic works (slideshows) that raise the question of the extent to which the organization of space reflects everyday production, the accumulation of equipment and goods, as well as economic thinking.
