The exhibition…

Astérides presents here a selection of young artists currently working in its studios: Denis Brun, Sydney Houillier, Stéphanie Majoral, Florent Mattei, Lionel Scoccimaro, Nano Valdes.

This recurring format, which is part of the association’s programming, reflects its commitment to making public a selection of works produced over periods ranging from three to six months, usually within the privacy of the studios.

Thus, the exhibition brings together works that stem less from a shared theme than from a common working context among the artists in residence at Astérides (studio practice, exchanges). Nevertheless, certain concerns may emerge as points of convergence between their approaches and their works.
