Festival Actoral - 10th edition

Triangle France is pleased to announce the renewal of its collaboration with Montevideo for Actoral, the international festival of contemporary writing, in 2010.
This year’s theme revolves around the notions of ellipse and gap: for Marcelline Delbecq, a temporal ellipse, which sees disjointed temporalities coexist within a cinephile space, the forgotten movements of elegant crowds; for Lidwine Prolonge, historical gaps revealing the frightening abyss of less catastrophic possibilities, just before the year 1939, still innocent of any malevolent intentions, but already marked with the seal of archived secrets; and for Mathis Collins, physical gaps, literal ones, frailly sealed by cork stoppers…
The performers will attempt, through their words and actions, to fill these voids, unless they discourse on their fatal necessity, in the fullness of human existence. Written, directed, and performed by them, these performances are a striking testament to the vitality of contemporary art applied to the stage.
