Triangle-Astérides invites you to an evening with artist and poet Nouria Behloul, who will read her text “Vouloir écrire” on Tuesday, November 11 at 6:00 PM at Shed, 9 rue Albert Chabanon, 13006 Marseille. For this reading, Shed is curating a reading room with a selection of books available for on-site consultation, exploring Palestinian and Algerian resistances as well as other themes from Nouria Behloul’s text.
In her interdisciplinary practice, artist and poet Nouria Behloul explores the poetics and politics of social structures. Her work, ranging from original writing and translation to research, performance and curating, has been presented internationally in a variety of contexts. In 2021 her book Poetry is the only way out of here was published by Bom Dia Books. She cotranslated Diaty Diallo’s Deux secondes d’air qui brûle into German. She lives in Marseille, where she has run the OCT0 bookstore Semiotext(e) Marseille.
