Kiss Me Deadly
A performance by ARC Kiss Me Deadly.
Wednesday, March 17, 2010, 8PM
Petit Théâtre, Friche La Belle de Mai, 13003 Marseille
In a desire to align with the multidisciplinary spirit that characterizes La Friche La Belle de Mai, Triangle repeats its contemporary art program in theater by hosting the performer artists of the ARC (Atelier de Recherche et de Création) Kiss Me Deadly at the Petit Théâtre de la Friche for a surprising and highly experimental evening.
Students from the École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts Paris-Cergy, led by their professors Jeff Guess, Eric Maillet, Judith Perron, and Mathilde Villeneuve, step outside the academic framework, as well as the white cube, to break free and play with the codes of artistic performance within a space as codified as a theater. ARC Kiss Me Deadly offers a reflection on performance through various types of media, combining sound and visual installations with more traditional forms of contemporary art interventions in a theatrical space.
