Since 2020, the investigative NGO Index - the French offshoot of the Forensic Architecture research laboratory - has been conducting independent counter-investigations into cases of police violence in France. Bringing together a network of journalists, researchers, videographers, engineers, architects, or jurists, its areas of expertise include open-source investigation, audiovisual analysis and 3D digital reconstruction. For this presentation at Triangle-Astérides, Francesco Sebregondi, founder of Index, will develop the project’s independent counter-expertise approach through a commented presentation of various investigative extracts in video format. This presentation is produced by Index and is organized as part of the group exhibition Like Spring, I will be many
