Triangle France's Third Gala
Between 2008 and 2017, Triangle France organized 7 editions of a charity gala, with the funds raised supporting the operations of the association. Between 40 and 70 artworks, produced and donated by artists closely linked to the institution, were offered for sale, allowing Triangle France members to acquire a piece of art and support the institution.

Triangle is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. Since 1995, more than 150 international artists have participated in residencies in our studios at La Friche La Belle de Mai. Over forty exhibitions have been organized by Triangle in Marseille, across Europe, and around the world. Numerous publications and monographs of young artists, as well as the feminist contemporary art magazine Pétunia, have been published. Triangle has also initiated and produced performance festivals, partnerships with other institutions, meetings, and international exchange programs, always with the same dynamism, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
Triangle is actively involved in preparations for 2013, when Marseille will shine as the European Capital of Culture, but more importantly, looking ahead to 2014, with La Friche permanently established as a major cultural hub in the PACA region, featuring its new architectural space, Le Panorama, animated by the visual arts structures of La Friche, including Triangle.
This year, Triangle is also launching new communication tools, including a redesigned website that will offer better visibility of the life of the studios, our structure, past, future, and ongoing projects, as well as many other resources. Most importantly, it will allow users to support Triangle by becoming a member online, making a donation, and in return, accessing a range of services designed to deepen their knowledge of contemporary art through engaging and accessible programs.
Once again, to support these many initiatives, Triangle invites you to participate in our annual Gala, which this year takes place in the prestigious setting of the Cercle des Nageurs de Marseille. During a convivial dinner with a stunning view of the Frioul Islands and Château d’If, you will have the opportunity to acquire an exciting artwork created by some of the most sought-after young French and international artists of the moment. These acquisitions are made possible thanks to their generosity and their awareness that Triangle offers young artists a unique opportunity—a crucial partnership at a moment in their careers when everything is challenging and uncertain, and where the support of an organization like ours can be a decisive turning point.

How to join the Gala?
For €100 (€33 after tax deduction)
You participate in the gala dinner and become a member of the association. You enjoy a magical evening by the sea in the prestigious setting of the Cercle des Nageurs, meet young artists and other enthusiasts like yourself, take home a Triangle catalog of your choice, and receive a special members-only newsletter offering activities related to Triangle and contemporary art (visits, meetings, performances, etc.). Most importantly, you support a nonprofit organization that has been committed for over 15 years—both in France and internationally—to promoting the most exciting developments in contemporary art today while discovering the rising stars of tomorrow!
For an additional €250 (limited to 40 tickets available)
You acquire a raffle ticket that allows you to select an artwork through a drawing from among 40 pieces generously donated by artists who have been supported by or are close to Triangle.
Each artwork is valued at €250 or more.
If your name is drawn first, you can choose from all the available artworks. If you are drawn last, you receive the final remaining artwork. Each winning piece comes with a certificate of authenticity.
If you cannot attend in person (priority is given to gala dinner attendees!), you can still purchase a raffle ticket remotely by sending us your selection preferences in writing.
The raffle will be conducted under the supervision of Maître Damien Leclère, a certified auctioneer, ensuring a fair and transparent process.
