Colombe Marcasiano lives and works in France
Whether it’s modeling, installations, or autonomous photographs, Colombe Marcasiano’s works draw from the world of objects and things around us – fragments of nature, furniture, decorative objects, temporary and random assemblages that a walk through the streets presents to those who know how to see them. These things are found through internal processes of creation, rather than being found and imitated. The fragile presence of her works sometimes leads to a certain relationship with painting, if only through the relationship with the wall, which often becomes a necessary element.
