Hayane Kam Nakache
Hayane Kam Nakache was born in 1982 in Damascus (SY) and lives and works in Geneva (CH).
He graduated from the Haute École d’Art et de Design (HEAD) in Geneva in 2008. Since then, Hayane Kam Nakache has continued to paint and draw, experimenting with various techniques and media, focusing on the art of gesture and improvisation. His art is inspired by, among other things, comics, graffiti, and 20th-century painting.
Hayane Kam Nakache has participated in several solo and group exhibitions, mainly in Switzerland and France, including Al-lah, an online exhibition at the Vevey Art Center, at Lokal-Int in Bienne, at the Nicolas Krupp Gallery in Basel, and twice at the Mamco in Geneva. His work is part of various collections (La Poste, FMAC, and FCAC Geneva), and he has participated in several residencies abroad (including New York in 2008). He has also published several fanzines in collaboration with Innen in Zurich.
