Hervé Humbert

Hervé Humbert is a French artist born in 1968, he lives and works in Berlin (DE)

Hervé Humbert graduated from the Institut Supérieur des Beaux-Arts de Besançon in 1994, and was then selected for the postgraduate program at the École supérieure d’art et de design Marseille-Méditerranée in 1994/1995. He has lived and worked in Berlin since 2005. For over ten years, Humbert has been exploring the boundaries and intersections between sculpture, design, and interior architecture. The underlying idea is that a work of art is a domestic object among everyday objects. Based on this hypothesis, he seeks to create a global and open body of work.
