Lucía C. Pino’s practice researches sculpture as a procedure and programme across different media, displaying an activity with language as a fictocritical and somatic exercise. Their ethos embraces matter in its performative dimensión and sensuality and desire as tools for emancipation and transformation. Unfolding singular authorship into collaborative and interdisciplinary processes where gender, class and race intersections are important elements. The intention is to join processes that make possible and remarkable more expansive understandings of reality.
