“It is always about research in the first instance: I don’t mean the beginning of everything, but the beginning as the ‘doing’ of something.
I found it particularly interesting to start at a moment when everything is filled with hope and optimism, as something common to all humanity. Everyone does it, it’s something you can’t stop doing.
However, to search for a beginning is already an action, a minimum of movement: if the possibility of obtaining a beginning concerns understanding one’s own mechanism.
This pivot point, like a variable strictly relative to space, excludes the projective phase, and prioritizes the moment just behind the thought.
The visual result of the whole process is a surface dialogue, an invasion of meaning, the direct consequence of that first chaotic step. The space is a container of fragments, a reliquary of questions, trying to reproduce the balance where the ‘spark’ of a beginning is possible.” – Marzia Corinne Rossi
