Mélissa Sinapan was born in 1990 in Montpellier (FR). She lives and works between Montpellier and Le Tampon (FR).
A landscape painter in the broadest sense, Mélissa Sinapan has a deep fascination with the field of decorative arts. Her painting is rich in art historical references, materials, and atmospheres. A graduate of the Saint-Étienne School of Art and Design in 2018, she was awarded the Moly-Sabata / Ville de Saint-Étienne Prize in 2019. Following a two-month residency at Moly-Sabata, she presented her first solo exhibition, À la peinture et aux fleurs, at La Serre de Saint-Étienne in 2019.
