Michel Pellaton

1999

Michel Pellaton a Triangle France Resident in 1999. The archives of Triangle-Astérides do not allow for the determination of the exact dates or the duration of this residency in 1999.

Michel Pellaton was born in Lausanne (CH), he lives and works between Lausanne and Rome (IT).
Michel Pellaton is a collage artist. He “speaks about the world” by inventing, highlighting, and experimenting with joyful and non-resigned visual approaches. For him, collage is a combination of reflexivity and association, a language that spans decades while adapting to visual and cultural upheavals.
His collage grammar, shaped through experience, enables him to engage with almost every field: iconography, semantics, stylistic exercises, currency, digital media, architecture, design…
He also practices collage with the “other protagonists” involved in the process — makers, collectors, and commissioners — following a logic of transparent cooperation.
