“Spatialomorphic object, born from the urban entrails, from what lies between the skin of the city, taking shape somewhere in the exhibition space or in the studio, gradually invades both my mental space and this physical space. It proliferates and seeks to reach every dimension of the site, as if to better define it. Stopping at a given moment, it reveals this body in gestation. A tentacular and penetrating form, an ectoplasm crawling on the floor or the wall, it questions the defined relationship between the artistic object, the space of creation, the space of presentation, and the position of the spectator’s body. At the same time, it interrogates our relationship to an urban and industrial environment in perpetual growth and transformation. Here, an echo of the site’s former activities and the nearby railway network can be heard through the emerging object.”
