“Ronald Cornelissen draws words [whose letters] recall those of neon signs set atop buildings and houses along the roadside, or else the typefaces of a fascist ideology without territory. After the downfall and Hollywood mishaps of our theater of life, the artist’s drawings offer emptied spaces, without edges, lit by the too-bright glow of a single bulb and by the speech bubbles of comic strips…”
