Tess Edmonson is currently in residence as part of an exchange program between Fonderie Darling (Montreal, CA) and Astérides.

Tess Edmonson was born in 1987 in Calgary (CA), she lives and works in Montreal (CA)

Tess Edmonson is a writer, art critic, and curator. She lives and works in Montreal. She is a correspondent for Canadian Art Magazine, and her writing has appeared in Modern Painters, Art Info, among others. She is a regular collaborator with Palimpsest, a platform for exhibitions, publications, interventions, and special projects.

Palimpsest has developed projects with DHC/ART, Pop Montreal, the Khyber Institute for Contemporary Art, and more recently, Friends of Freiheit in North Adams, Massachusetts.
