Following a residency at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, we had the opportunity to welcome Tim Braden to our studios in 2009. His work revolves around the figure of the explorer, the adventurer, playing with an exotic vocabulary and imagery. He reconstructs a supposedly fictitious memory, using every detail that might trigger a reminiscence, carefully preserving a nostalgic blur and an authenticity faded by time.
