Tina Z’Rotz

Tina Z’Rotz benefited from a residency in an Astérides studio, as part of a partnership with the iaab in Basel.

Tina Z’Rotz was born in 1970 in Stans (CH), she lives and works in Basel (CH)

I ascend the arena as an escapologist. It is not just the back of my head that is working. I explore views on love, everyday life and the people who move about it.

Preferably I like to find a temporary link to my own feelings and attitudes. I like it tender and raw, warm and frosty ; I love tales and feel constrained to the adventures of life. I work with any medium available, in order to construct charging units, prairies and my own universe.
Apart from that I am a good hairdresser and long for glorious new collaborations, while at the weekend celebrating ritual biscuit-baking.
