As cross-disciplinary perspectives benefit all fields of artistic creation, Triangle-Astérides is launching a programme of commissioned original texts responding to its exhibitions, inviting writers whose interests or formal approaches resonate with those of the exhibiting artists.
Conceived as open commissions, these contributions may take a variety of forms — from conventional critical reviews to essays, fiction and poetry — offering a singular and situated perspective on the works, at a time when spaces dedicated to art criticism are becoming increasingly scarce.
With the support of the Fondation de France.

The inaugural commission in the programme of original literary texts responding to our exhibitions was entrusted to writer Karim Kattan, in response to Mona Benyamin’s exhibition Like Clockwork.
