This event offers participants an introduction to the challenges of image-based investigation, along with a hands-on workshop focused on video analysis and synchronization for investigative purposes. The workshop is led by Basile Trouillet, video analyst and chief editor at INDEX.
Requirements to participate in the workshop:
- Participants must bring their own personal laptop.
- Before the workshop, participants must download and install the free and open-source software KDenLive on their personal laptop (https://kdenlive.org/en/).
During the workshop, resources will be made available to participants via an online folder, which will be accessible for download at the event. Prior experience in video editing is helpful but not required to participate in the workshop.
This workshop is organized by Index as part of the collective exhibition “Like Spring, I will be many”.
INDEX is a not-for-profit, independent expertise agency established in France in 2020.
