Mac Andre Arboleda is a Filipino artist based in San Pedro City, Philippines. Their practice explores the incapacities and capacities of digital life through research and dialogue, art and text, organizing and publishing. Moving across different media such as memes, zines, screens, and NFTs, websites and Raspberry Pi networks, collective prayers and gravestones-gone-viral, Instagram filters and Facebook live broadcasts, sound and radio shows, jigsaw puzzles, events, and hybrid-performances, their experimentation produces projects that have ranged from salvaging selfies in a PR campaign benefitting the grandson of a dead dictator, to programming a radio special commemorating one of the world’s most notorious computer viruses.

Between 2015-2020, they co-founded and helped organize Zine Orgy and Munzinelupa in the Philippines, both spaces for independent publishing and community exchange in Los Baños and the South of Manila.

Mac Andre Arboleda is a graduate of the University of the Philippines and in 2024 became a recipient of the Judson-Morrissey Excellence in New Media Award. Born to Bicolano parents, they grew up in Laguna, Philippines and previously lived in Austria, Denmark, and Poland for studies.
