“Thinking about the limit
Most of my artwork has always revolved around the concept of limit.
The limit is understood as a skin that separates an interior from an exterior, and not only, it is also the point of contact between different realities, a meeting place. Spatiality is a creation of beings, its configuration takes place as a defined limit inwards and outwards. Containers, plates, balloons, mirrors, vortices, the exhibition space… are some examples with which I have worked on the concept of limit.
I usually work with absolute, geometric forms, in which its essence can highlight what really interests me.
Another important part of my artistic trajectory is to show the process as part of the work where the final result is no more important than the process undertaken to achieve it. Sometimes it is the same work that takes place during the exhibition. Sometimes I am physically involved in the whole process dialoguing with the material.”
